You chose: giorgio morandi

  • After mounting exhibitions of the work of Fortunato Depero and Medardo Rosso, the Center for Italian Modern Art is dedicating its third annual installation to Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964), the illustrious painter and etcher from Bologna. Morandi’s simple yet technically adroit stilllifes and landscapes made him a central figure in 20th century art.
  • "The Art Show," an annual fair of the Art Dealer's Association of America, located at the Park Avenue Armory, includes multiple artworks by Italian Impressionists and Futurists. Many other works draw clear inspiration and influence from these Italian artists.
