  • This one of a kind exhibit, “Sharing Images: Renaissance Prints into Maiolica and Bronze,” will be displayed in Washington D.C starting April, 1 at the National Gallery of Art thanks to Eugene V. and Clare E. Thaw Charitable Trust, and The Exhibition Circle of the National Gallery of Art.
  • Paying homage to an Italian great, Cinema Italia San Francisco, in collaboration with Luce Cinecittà, the Italian Cultural Institute of SF, the Consulate General of Italy, The Leonardo da Vinci Society, and the Jan & Maria Manetti Shrem Museum, will be presenting Michelangelo Antonioni’s films at the Castro Theatre April, 28.
  • Venini creations
    This May, the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) will be at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Center. Venini, the Italian glass manufacturer from Murano will be in attendance, along with many others, such as Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, Kenise Barnes Fine Art, and McGuire Glass. This four-day event centers around interior design, architecture, furniture retail, distribution, and more!
  • The world renowned artist and fashion designer is coming to Washington D.C this May. His contemporary artworks will be exhibited at both the Italian Embassy and IA&A at Hillyer from May 4 through May 27.

    The second edition of Italian Design Day is from March 1 through March 8 focusing on the relationship between design and sustainability. Held at the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, there will be presentations, the opening of an art exhibit, an inciteful panel discussion, and an award ceremony to celebrate the event. Special guests include, architect and artist Massimo Catalani, the ambassador of the 2018 Design Day, and artists Andrea Capellino and Valerio Berruti.
  • At War For Love, "In Guerra per Amore" directed by Pif
    Presented at the St. Anthony Main Theatre, Minneapolis and St. Paul are hosting its annual Italian Film Festival. This is the 10-year anniversary of the event that screens modern Italian films and documentaries. The Italian Film Festival is hosted by the Film Society of Minneapolis/St. Paul, and is organized by the Italian Cultural Center of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

    Accomplished Italian composer in residence at NYU, Roberto Scarcella Perino, graced the audience with the US premiere of his “Piano Sonata No. 3” played by virtuoso pianist Giuseppe Bruno along with other pieces from the maestro's repertoire.

    This February, the Barbera Foundation will present the Mentoris Project with a series of e-books that celebrate the accomplishments of Italians and Italian-Americans at the Institute of Italian Culture in Los Angeles.

    Lineapelle’s two-day event showcased exclusive international producers of leather, and textiles for shoes, handbags, and other goods. Among the luxurious craftsmanship was a free aperitivo sponsored by various Italian brands: Abaton, Edesia, Fratelli Beretta, Gioiella, Il Chinotto nella rete, NENA Group, Panzerotti, Ribalta Mo’, San Benedetto Acqua Minerale, and Urbani Truffles.
