  • At an event organized by the GEI (Gruppo Esponenti Italiani) at the New York Italian Consulate, three leading exponents of the Italian food and wine world on why Italian identity is here to stay and is spreading across the planet but only provided it be communicated strongly and effectively, in a way that shows that the Italian essence is unique. From Spritz to Parmigiano, to Piedmontese wine: a culinary experience that only a country as biodiverse as Italy can offer.
  • Accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luigi Di Maio, and the Minister of Technological Innovation Paola Pisano, the Italian President travelled to DC, where he met with Trump, as well as the leadership of the Italian American Congressional Delegation, and Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi. He then went to San Francisco to visit startup companies Kong and Nozomi Networks, participate in the Italy-US Innovation Forum, and meet with the Mayor of San Francisco and the Governor of California.
  • Following authorization from the World Trade Organization, the Trump administration plans to impose tariffs on $7.5 billion worth of goods, including aircrafts but also Italian cheeses, French wine, Scotch whiskey, and other products from the European Union beginning October 18th.
