MAV-Archeological Virtual Museum of Herculaneum

686 Park Ave
10065 New York, NY
United States

A presentation of the virtual museum of the archaeological site at Herculaneum, with the participation of Nino Daniele, President of MAV, and Ciro Cacciola, Director of MAV.
The Virtual Museum of Archaeology (MAV), based on the ancient Roman town of Herculaneum is situated 100 meters from the ruins of the former settlement. The creators of MAV aim to digitally reconstruct the destroyed town and recreate what life there was like.
Innovative technologies allow visitors, through a unique experience of the senses, to interact, learn and discover the historical realities of Herculaneum and Pompeii before the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
