HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY – GIORNO DELLA MEMORIA

Every year the Consulate General of Italy renews its commitment to the duty of memory by promoting a series of events to raise awareness against racism and xenophobia in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, the Centro Primo Levi, the Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimo’ at NYU, the John D. Calandra Institute at CUNY, the Italian Academy at Columbia University and the Scuola d’Italia “G. Marconi”.

The centerpiece of these events is the ceremony of the reading of the names of all Jews deported from Italy and Italian territories, which will be held on January 27 in front of the Consulate General of Italy (690 Park Avenue) from 9.00 am to 3.00 p.m.
