LUCA PIOLA: PASSENGERS

Port Washington Public Library, Long Island, NY

The Art Advisory Council of Port Washington Public Library is pleased to present “Passengers”, an exhibition by the artist Luca Piola. Luca Piola investigates the relationship between man and some particular spaces, exploring the strong but invisible relation between the human being and his transparent containers. Spaces where man gets in and from where he gets out. The space, unaware protagonist of our existence. “The Museum is one of my favorite spaces. Is a place that is distinct and different from the world outside. When you enter into a museum, you enter into another reality, another dimension of the reality that is your life. You are not visitor anymore but 'passenger' of a travel to different realities of the mind. I represent people in this liquid flow. I collect tracks of these mental explorations among shreds of memories”. Luca Piola lives and works in New York, his works are parts of “Collezione Maramotti”, Italy.
