Gianrico Carofiglio in conversation with Fabio Finotti.The best-selling crime novelist Gianrico Carofiglio will present his novel “Temporary Perfections”, the fourth novel in the popular Guido Guerrieri series. Guerrieri, a lawyer practicing in Bari (Puglia) becomes enthralled with a closed missing persons case regarding a young woman, Manuela Ferraro, who vanished while on a beach vacation six months prior.  As Guerrieri investigates and uncovers Ferrari’s mysterious disappearance, he comes across startling revelations through unlikely sources that link the young and affluent Ferrari with a menacing drug ring. With an impressive career, Carofiglio has not needed to look far for his ideas.  A former prosecutor in Bari, Carofiglio has been involved with trials and investigations involving corruption, organized crime, and human trafficking, becoming an expert of psychology and techniques applied to investigations.
