United States

Presentation ofIMAF, which is an annual competition on Video, Visual Arts, Music, Literature. The 2010-2011 is the first year this competition takes place and the theme is “Art your Food”. The choice of food as base of the 2010-2011 IMAF is due to the fact it is an element that all the different cultures have in common and so it is a good way to make artists reflect upon the current idea of multiculture. The organizational committee will choose and public on the website the names of the forty finalists (ten for every category) and the public will be able to vote his favourite one. In the end the four winners and one artist elected by the public will be rewarded.During the presentation of IMAF an artistic performance will take place: the violist Victoria Voronyansky will play some play selections by Bach and Piazzolla and the artist Michela Martello will paint on paper inspired by this music.
