The third International Art Festival Of Spirituality, founded by Pamela Villoresi, will open on the 18th of May at the Italian Cultural Institute with a round table discussion on “Terre Sacre” (Sacred Home), on a spiritual feelings of belonging to the own homeland.Guests (TBA) will discuss topics on the exodus and exile.Artists from different backgrounds have been invited to reflect upon the concept of “home”.The program includes performances located in different places.On May, 19th the performance “Il Leone Maremmano” by Pamela Villoresi hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute will discuss faith in ideals, unity, integrity and moral outrage over corruption. Villoresi's production will be performed in italian.On May, 20th the concert “Passio Ceciliae” by Monsignor Frisina, to evoke the Regnum Beatitudinis (the Promised Land to everyone), will be performed at Santa Cecilia Church in New York.On May, 21st “L’Angelo dei Sobborghi”, theatre act by young artists of Chinese Community from Prato, will be staged at Asia Society. The theme is the mass exodus, social integration in a foreign country, sensitivity of emigrants, who try to recreate their cultural identity away from home.On May, 22nd “Tempio Maggiore di Roma Chorus” will perform Roman Jewish religious and Renaissance chants, to highlight the relevance of memory on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Jewish Museum of Rome.
