  • Trevignano is a small town north of Rome with a surprisingly big cinema tradition dating back to the Thirties. This Sept. 25-29 it hosted a five-day festival of documentary and fiction films from around the world dedicated to the problems of migrants. Organized by journalist Corrado Giustiniani with the participation of actors Carlo Verdone and Monica Guerritore, the Trevignano Film Festival was timed to honor the first anniversary of the drowning of some 360 migrants Oct. 3, 2013, off the coast of Lampedusa.
