The movie, inspired by a real incident happened in the '20s in a family residing in the countryside around Milan (Varedo), tells the story of a handicapped child, who is locked up in a poultry house and rises with the chickens, identifying its functions with those of the rooster. The film focuses on the psychiatric treatment of this man and the relationships he establishes with other patients at the psychiatric hospital.
 
With the partecipation of the director Dario D'Ambrosi and the protagonist Celeste Moratti.
