The Italian Cultural Institute is pleased to present N.I.C.E. in NY. On this occasion Nina di Majo, director of the movie with Fabio Volo and Margherita Buy “Weddings and other Disasters”, will attend the festival's press conference.

The Italian American Writers Association (IAWA) is joined by two award-winning authors: Laurie Fabiano and Egidio Coccimiglio. The evening starts with Open Mic readings of five minutes each.

Hands on culinary classes for children presented in our demonstration kitchen by I Trulli Restaurant. Children have fun while learning to prepare various types of pasta. Limited capacity to 28. Adults will not be admitted without a child. One adult per child. Must register in advance and prepay.

Maestro Alessandro Marrone was born in Switzerland in 1966. Upon graduating from the Istituto d'Arte of Arezzo in 1983, Maestro Marrone continued to pursue his studies at the prestigious Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence specializing in sculpture. Throughout his multifaceted career, Maestro Marrone has not only expressed himself in the form of sculpture, but in painting, set design, and jewelry design. His works have been exhibited all over Italy including in the home of Michelangelo in 1991 and in New York at the Italian Consulate in 2008.
