Gio Moretti brings her acoustic rock and jazz sound to Drom for an evening that is sure to be fun, festive and funky. The Italian-born siren, whose sound is reminiscent of the early works of Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Tracy Chapman, stops by to celebrate the long-awaited debut of not one, but two CDs, Animacustica and Meeting Point.These CD, both co-produced by veteran hit maker Steve Addabbo (Suzanne
Vega, Shawn Colvin) feature several musical gems that will be performed
tonight.

Amelia Rosselli is widely recognized as one of the most innovative and exciting Italian poets of the past half-century. As she was both a poet who wrote in three languages—Italian, English and French—and a translator, questions of translation are central to her work. This international conference brings together the major critics and translators of Rosselli to discuss her poetry and read some of the finest translations of her work.

The show is the sequence of 15 landscapes composed by performative actions where a man and a woman speak about their relationship with the contemporary world which is in continuous evolution.
Moving freely from love affairs to politics, the human gesture is the key to read the complexity of social relationships in which the characters get lost during their constant search of balance.
