Nicola Gardini, a graduate of New York University, teaches Italian Literature at the University of Oxford. He has published literary essays, translations of English, American and Latin poets, a few books of poetry and two novels. Among his most recent works the Meridiano Mondadori of Ted Hughes (2008) and the memoir I baroni (2009). Nicola Gardini is currently working on a book on Italian Renaissance.
