Held on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Giacomo Puccini’s birth, this fundraiser will support the October world-premiere of Giacomo Puccini’s revised opera, La Coupe et Les Levres (La Coppa e Le Labbra), by the eminent composer and conductor, Anton Coppola. Inter-Cities Performing Arts, Inc. and Ieri Oggi Domani, under the auspices of the Italian Consulate in New Jersey and New York, announce this special event. Winners and finalists of the Altamura/Caruso International Voice Competition and guest artists will perform.

The Italian American Writers Association (IAWA) celebrates its 18th Anniversary with two innovative multi-media artists: John J. Trause, co-founder of the William Carlos Williams Poetry Cooperative in Rutherford, New Jersey, where he serves as programmer and host, and LuLu LoLo who will be performing the Mary Ann Zielonko monologue from her one-person play “38 Witnessed Her Death, I Witnessed Her Love: The Lonely Secret of Mary Ann Zielonko (Kitty Genovese Story). The evening starts with Open Mic readings of five minutes each.
