On Saturday, June 20 at 6 p.m., the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum will host a Very Special Guest speaker, Tom Santopietro, who will be discussing, and signing, his acclaimed book, Sinatra in Hollywood. When we think of Sinatra we usually think of him as a singer, but Santopietro’s book examines Sinatra’s astonishing 60-year career as a actor, from his rise in musicals like Anchors Aweigh and On the Town, to his Oscar-winning performance in From Here to Eternity.

Topics to be covered include: determining the value of your estate; the process of estate planning; wills, trusts and other estate planning documents; effective ways to pass property to heirs; estate and gift taxation; and ways to reduce estate shrinkage as well as various other estate planning strategies.

The exhibit features original archive photographs available for the first time in the U.S. of royal families, presidents and Hollywood movie stars in their visits to Italy in the vibrant phase that film director Federico Fellini brilliantly described as the years of ‘La Dolce Vita’.

The Italian Body by and with Marta Mondelli explores the Italian body "dictionary" (giving useful examples of typical expressions and projecting images on power point) and explains its origin back to the Carnival and the masks of Commedia dell'Arte. In English.
