An Encounter of Astronomy and Biology” ” is the first out of three lectures on hot science issues by Vittorio Canuto (former senior scientist at NASA, now Professor at Columbia University). He will converse with Cristiano Galbiati (Professor of Physics at Princeton University).

The Italian American Writers Association (IAWA) invites Canadian-born author and composer, Luigi Monteferrante who is currently on tour promoting his latest work. From poetry to song, and experimental music, he has enjoyed airplay on Radio Studio 8 (Washington), Canada's CBC 3, Fleet FM (NZ), and poet and faculty member at the Peter Murphy Prose and Poetry Winter Getaways, Emari DiGiorgio who teaches at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and is a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Poet-in-the-Schools. The evening starts with Open Mic readings of five minutes each.
