The book that we are going to present "This is not Propaganda" tells of the last twenty years of the history of Italian art. Not any old history, but the history that can be read through more than 400 artworks, paintings, sculptures and photographs, put together over little more than a decade by Antonio Stellatelli.
“Contemporary art is on the boundary with the present”, writes Marina Pizziolo in the book. “It is that fascinating territory where the aroma of the future takes the form of works that have the value of premonitions.

Antonio Porta represents one of the highest and most intense poetic achievements of postwar Italy. Porta conceived poetry as an open and endless project, a work in progress in which the exploration of language and the inquisitive gaze on the world always coincide. The result is a verbal tension and a cognitive restlessness that are indeed rare and unique. Porta’s poetry on the one hand faces the distressing and dehumanized manifestations of existence and, on the other, in its later stages, it generates liberating messages of hope and regeneration.

The Herbert A. Simon Society brings together some of the most important economists critical of contemporary economic models and aims at reformulating economic theory by starting with the many non-neoclassical directions that have been developed in recent years. This workshop is focused on three themes that were identified as particularly relevant in order to apply Simon's ideas in the contemporary debate: duality of mind, creativity, critics and alternative paradigms to rational expectations.

This Festival is an official project of the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) as a celebration of the vitality of European cinema. Launched as an annual event in 2009, it instantly became popular for its unique, carefully selected film series, presenting films that have gained acclaim on the festival circuit, yet remain largely unknown to American audiences.
