In the meeting scheduled at the Italian Cultural Institute, the famous choreographer Marco Pelle will explain how Italian dance has been influenced by American dance. Some videos will be show how attestation of history of Italian choreography by the choreographers like A. Amodio, M. Bigonzetti, F. Monteverde, M. Abbondanza, A. Bertoni, F. Franzutti. Furthermore Marco Pelle will introduce his show of the illustrious New York Theatre Ballet. Marco Pelle was born and raised in Italy.

Since the previous cinema program coincided with other events of the Italian Cultural Institute, we are pleased to re-propose the very popular series CRIMINI. Created for RAI Fiction by Italy’s foremost thriller writers - such as Marcello Fois, Diego De Silva, Carlo Lucarelli, Giancarlo De Cataldo, and Giorgio Faletti -, producers and directors, CRIMINI explores the broad themes of crime in various Italian locations. The objective is to provide a view of Italian history, art, and current events through the presentation of works of fiction.

"My brother is an only child" was presented at the last Cannes and Toronto Film Festivals. It reunites director Daniele Lucchetti with longtime collaborators Sandro Petraglia and Stefano Rulli, best known as screenwriters of the highly acclaimed "The Best of Youth".
Set in a small Italian town between the 60s and the 70s, it is the story of two brothers who want to change the world, but in two different ways. It is an intense and incredible film about the dreams and the disillusions of the time. The film is released by THINKfilm on March 28th.
