frēstyl presents: Italians Do It Līve

You might not know it yet, but the music scene in Italy is exploding in all directions, crossing national borders and oceans to reach your ears with contagious sounds you won't believe you've been missing. Until now.

To celebrate this historic moment of musical innovation frēstyl has selected a handful of crazy talented Italian musicians to play for you in NYC. "Italians Do It Līve" will give you a taste of the emerging music scene in Italy and leave you craving for more. You'll start off with the soft, folk sounds of LE-LI, then bravely enter the electro-rock beats of Serpenti, and, finally, you'll be taken away by the electro-rap energy of Posi.

Thanks to our collaborators you'll have three chances to catch this epic event. The main attraction is the official frēstyl showcase of the Northside Festival at Public Assembly on June 26th at 5pm. But for those who can't make it we'll have an earlier date, organized in collaboration with All Over Booking at Fat Baby on June 23 at 8pm, and a last-chance gig, organized in collaboration with GigMaven, at House of Yes on June 27th at 8pm. In other words, we don't want you to miss this.

From the Eternal City to the City that Never Sleeps, this eclectic music experience will set the record straight. This ain't your grandma's Italy.
