  • At War For Love, "In Guerra per Amore" directed by Pif
    Presented at the St. Anthony Main Theatre, Minneapolis and St. Paul are hosting its annual Italian Film Festival. This is the 10-year anniversary of the event that screens modern Italian films and documentaries. The Italian Film Festival is hosted by the Film Society of Minneapolis/St. Paul, and is organized by the Italian Cultural Center of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

    Upon retiring as the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco, Amelia Antonucci found that her energy had not declined while her love of film persisted. Thus Cinema Italia SF was born, and it’s now in its fifth year.
  • Starting on May 22, and ending on the 31, the Film Society of Lincoln Center presents an all-Italian film series: Titanus, A Family Chronicle of Italian Cinema. Featuring works by filmmakers like Federico Fellini, Vittorio De Seta, Michelangelo Antonioni, Ermanno Olmi, Dario Argento, Vittorio De Sica, and Mario Monicelli, among others, the series focuses mainly on the films produced at Titanus from the late ’40s to the early ’60s.
  • Italian cinema between New York and Naples will be presented at Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò (NYU) and Lincoln Center. Also announced - by Antonio Monda and Davide Azzolini - an event in January during Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe's New York visit about Cinema and the communication of the Neapolitan image. Stay tuned
