    Italy is THE great protagonist of this year’s Summer show! 350 exhibitors and almost 30,000 square feet of display area at the Javits Center in New York City, host of the largest and most important food and beverage show in North America and one from the top five such events around the world, that opens on June 29 and closes on July 1.
  • An exciting day for the city of New York: The Consulate General of Italy has organized – as a prelude to the annual Festa della Repubblica on June 2nd – a treasure hunt around the city. Uncovering precious Italian treasures all over the island of Manhattan. Great turn out and enthusiasm.
  • On June 1st, New York will celebrate the first edition of The Italian Brand Ambassador 2014. The ceremony will take place at 7pm at the Highline Ballroom of New York. “It’s the first time in the world that a non-Italian will be awarded as the Ambassador of the Made in Italy,” said the Director of the ICE USA Pier Paolo Celeste.
  • Morning - President of the ITC Riccardo Maria Monti meets the press in New York to illustrate the new initiatives of the Italian Trade Commission Evening - The Italian Trade Commision opened its doors to fashion with an event, organized by Vogue Italia's Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani.

  • Italian Tile Manufacturers, sponsored by Confindustria Ceramica, the Italian Trade Promotion Agency (ICE) with support from the Italian Trade Commission (ICE’s New York office) will showcase the latest introductions in Italian tile at North America’s premier showcase for contemporary design. May 18-21.
  • Italian Trade Commissioner Aniello Musella confirms that, as it has been for the past 30 years, Italy will have the largest pavilion at the 2011 Summer Fancy Food Show, held for the first time ever in Washington DC's Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Washington's a new gastronomic capital that caters to embassies and international trade organizations.

  • Italy is the guest of honor of the 2011 BookExpo America (May 24-26). The National Institute for Foreign Commerce, in collaboration with the Italian Publishers Association has brought the excellences of our publishing world to the Javits Center.
