    April 29, 2014. A lovely evening at "Zio Ristorante" organized by The Young Executives Committee of the Italy America Chamber of Commerce (YEX) and the Consulate General of Italy in New York.
  • A great initiative aimed at creating English - Italian bilingual sections in the public schools of New York under the "DUAL PROGRAM" activated by the City, is in the works thanks to the collaboration of the Italian Consulate General in New York, in collaboration with IACE (Italian - American Committee on Education), La Scuola d’ Italia "G. Marconi" and many other institutions.
  • This year’s celebration of the Feast of the Republic in Newark constituted the occasion for the Italian and Italian-American community in New Jersey to wish farewell to Consul General of Italy in Newark Andrea Barbaria. After four years of service in Newark, Barbaria has been assigned to the Mission of Italy in Tehran, Iran.
  • On May 11, IHCC-NY celebrated the annual Mother’s Day ceremony at the Mother Italy Statue at Hunter College and received the moral responsibility of the statue from Justice Dominic Massaro. The ceremony was also the occasion to honor Consul General of Italy to New York Natalia Quintavalle for her role in the Italian-American community and as a proud Italian mother.
