During the conference organized by The Architect's Newspaper, "Creating the 21st Century Facade: How Architects and Fabricators are Advancing Curtain Wall Design in the Digital Age," a special section will be given to tiles of italian ceramics, in order to promote them in the USA.
"Creating Sustainable Facades with Metal, Mesh, Ceramic and Composites" is the title, architect Michael P. Johnson from MPJ Design Studio will intervene.
Eleven italian firms participate to the initiative by exhibiting their own creations.
Keynote speaker is Patrik Schumacher, director of Zaha Hadid Architects.
