Lou DiPalo, Louis Coluccio, and Antonio Magliuloare owners of three of the very best Italian specialty stores in all New York City. The evening will feature a talk on smart shopping, learning about the history of these landmark stores and the origins of various Italian products as they take us through the ins and outs of shopping for authentic Italian food: How are particular products made? What should we look for when buying them? How to tell which are really authentic?

Michele Scicoloneis an award winning food writer and the author of 15 cookbooks. Her latest is The Italian Slow Cooker. She is also one of the editors of the 75th Anniversary edition of the classic Joy of Cooking, and writes about food, wine, and travel for many publications, including Prevention Magazine, The Washington Post, The Wine Spectator, Gourmet, and Bon Appetit.
