The Director of the Italian Cultural Institute Riccardo Viale and Pino Pietrolucci will introduce the World Theater Day involves many Italian Cultural Institutes and includes a wide program of events, such as the screening of the message by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano in theaters, schools, planes, trains, post offices and train stations, and the issue of a celebratory stamp.Lina Sastri will perform  "Napoletana" a show aimed to put on the stage a journey through woman's interior life using two passages taken from Eduardo De Filippo's masterpieces. From the difficult and noble youth of "Bonaria", character of "Gli esami non finiscono mai" ("Exams will never finish") to "Filumena" from "Filumena Marturano", that talks about the simple and concrete relationship that she has with faith, life and love.

This theatrical moment will be followed by Neapolitan songs, such as Era de maggio, Voce 'e notte and I te vurria vasa. Lina Sastri will be accompanied by the pianist Maurizio Abeni.

After the screening of the message by the President of  the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano to celebrate the Theatre World Day, Lina Sastri will perform “Napoletana”
