Exhibition opening: Omaggio a De Chirico. A collective effort of paying tribute to the artist.

The curators of the exhibition Antonio Porcella, friend of the great artist, and Gloria Porcella have selected notably famous artists for the occasion, including Enrico Prampolini and Renato Guttuso, Ruggero Savinio, Gino Marotta, Ennio Calabria, Sergio Vacchi, Mario Ceroli, Alberto Sughi, Bruno Ceccobelli, Piero Pizzi Cannella, Bruno Grassi, Marco Nereo Rotelli, and promising young Italian and international contemporary artists Jean Pierre Duriez, Alfredo Rapetti, Erika Calesini, Angelo Colagrossi, Stefano Branca, Irem Inceday, Flavia Mantovan, Camilla Ancilotto, Isabella Orsini, Francesca Leone, Cristiano Cascelli, and photographers Pino Settanni, Tiziano Lucci and Fabiana Roscioli to pay homage to the artist.

The artists will tell in their own way, and with surprising and innovative results, the unique art of a timeless genius who with his works revolutionized the history of art. Each artist has been able to see and read de Chirico and above all each with his own specificity, has succeeded to create an original work and at the same time unique in its genre.


This exhibition will be on view through March 11, 2010.
