Exhibition Opening: Ornaghi & Prestinari, curated by Vittorio Calabrese

Valentina Ornaghi & Claudio Prestinari have worked as a duo since 2009 and have exhibited all around Italy and Europe. At Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò, they will present an exhibition titled Ornaghi&Prestinarifeaturing a series of their most recent works. The show will include sculptures, works on paper and paintings, thus highlighting the artists’ interest in materials and their potential as well as in new interdisciplinary methods of approach to their manipulation. Blending together pictorial and plastic figuration, reflections on art history and personal life experiences, Ornaghi & Prestinari invite the viewers into an intimate and delicate universe. Their practice is focused on dualities between thought and action, concept and manual activity, with a marked attention for spontaneous and unpredictable intuitions.
